- Thomas Mayes of Wilshamstead, grocer, and Elizabeth Tucker of Wilshamstead, bound over to appear at the next General Quarter Sessions to answer the complaint of William Clarke and John Finney of Houghton Conquest, Overseers of the Poor, for concealing the birth of a bastard child to Susan Smart, and then taking her to Wilshamstead, and leaving her child in Houghton Conquest to be provided for by the inhabitants of Houghton Conquest.
