    References to Governor's daughter dying of typhoid, Midsummer 1877. It was considered to be due to infected well water. Printed rules of the Luton Mutual Loan Society, 1877 Printed rules settled and approved by the Secretary of State under the Prison Act, 1877. They concern the appointment of a Visiting Committee and rules governing it. Also rules for discontinuance of certain prisons or alternative prisons in the same County. Printed copy of letter from Leicester County Justices referring to the Prison Bill and requesting compensation for certified prison cells beyond those required for the average number of the district.
