Ebenezer Chew, of Biggleswade, grocer and his family.
Seated Ebenezer and his wife, standing left to right dau. Irene Chew, son Henry Ernest Chew and his wife Eliz, nee Weatherald, formerly of Askrigg, Wensley Dale, Yorkshire, and May Chew, dau., who later married Jn Briggs, of Loughton, Essex and afterwards emigrated to Canada. The picture was taken soon after Henry's marriage, which caused a slight upset in the family as he went up to the Dales on holiday and came back with his teacher bride, having before that been greatly influenced by his sisters.
