    The Lodge, Clapham Road. The Curtis family home, probably in the mid-1920s. The House stood in extensive grounds in the angle of Clapham Road and Manton Lane and was built by the Fitzpatrick family c. 1850. The House was demolished in the 1960s and the site is now part of Bedford Modern School.
