    Indexed letterbooks including, amongst other things: - infestation of rats in corn stacks at Village Farm, Stagsden; - lists of names of those to whom and areas about which Orders and Directions were made; - request for a drainage report on land at Manor Farm, Harrold; - request to de-requisition buildings at Hundreds Farm, Woburn; - inability of farmers to use fields when part of the field was taken over by the Air Ministry as they did not wire off the affected area; - request of the Air Ministry as to whether land at Old Rowney Farm, Shefford, was to be used for aerodrome purposes as the owners, Messrs Allingham, alleged; further allegations including the suggestion that they had allowed the RAF to use the fields because they were under an Order to Plough and threatening them with prison if they did not comply with the Order; one letter bears the phrase "this fellow Allingham is a real pest!"; - allegation by owners of Turvey House Estate against Committee's Pests Officer to the effect that he was a poacher; - notes of resolutions of the Committee; - need for use by Mastin & Sons of Wilstead of buildings in Wilstead rented by C.Douglas Wolveridge & Co.Ltd. in which to store agricultural machinery; - requisition of Toddington Park House for Women's Land Army workers and need to evict tenants of part of the property - New Welbeck Ltd
