    Indexed letterbooks containing, amongst other things: - Committee taking into possession 181 acres of land at Toddington rifle range; - lists of names and locations of those to whom and about which Orders and Directions were served; - complaints regarding: land at Maycock's Farm, Turvey, being required as an aerodrome site; huts erected on Thurleigh glebe; Air Ministry requisition of Whitwick Green Farm, Thurleigh; and encroachment of new runway etc. from Shelton Aerodrome onto land belonging to Manor Farm, Yielden; - Committee possession of land at Bolnhurst to bring it into a good state of cultivation; - need for extra labour to harvest 400 acres of corn on Luton Corporation land; - objection to the transfer of Bedford Labour Exchange Manager C.W.Goord to Headquarters; - protest at an Order restricting holders of C licences to trips of 15 miles for collection and 35 miles for delivery, thus preventing market gardeners delivering produce to London; - appointment of temporary Assistant Executive Officer; - report that crops grown on F.R.Allingham's land at Old Rowney Farm, Shefford, were of very high quality, in contradiction of the opinion of Allingham's representatives; - observation that milking cows were being made into sausages thus endangering the supply of milk; - personal details of men applying for exemption from military service as having reserved occupations, the men being: R.Kenny, J.W.Rowland, J.B.Morrison, R.F.Smith, G.H.Theobald and E.H.Luck
