- Thomas Hill Mortimer, gentleman, chief steward; - parties: (i) Sarah Goodman of Aspley Guise, widow and (ii) William Goodman Duncombe of Marston Moretaine, farmer (executors of John Goodman formerly of Brogborough, Ridgmont, then of Aspley Guise, yeoman), (iii) Jonathan Barrett, late of Northampton Square [Middlesex], ironfounder, now of Croydon [Surrey], esquire (devisee in trust for sale in will of Samuel Reeve late of Leighton Buzzard, grocer, afterwards common brewer); (b) cottage in Middle Row, Leighton Buzzard, formerly of John Marshall many years since divided into two of which one was for a long time past used as inn called Cross Keys in occupation of William King and James Sharp then Henry Samuel and William Drage; (c) toft on which part of (b) formerly stood in occupation of William Flemons, miller then John Layton, gardener then bounded out by stones from Market Place by Cross; (d) two messuages in Leighton Buzzard adjoining White Horse inn, afterwards called Roebuck in occupation of, successively, John Atkins, William Drage, Edward Walker and Benjamin Gartside formerly part, then divided from messuages of William Felce and Widow Hack, then Elizabeth Clarke, widow and Robert Turnham; (e) washhouse and room over it in occupation of Benjamin Gartside as part of Roebuck; (f) part three stall stable adjoining little yard of tenement erected by Benjamin Reeve near where washhouse stood measuring 10 ft 6 in long and 2 ft 10 in broad from loft floor to ground; (g) ) piece of ground, way or passage from street in front of tenement late in occupation of Elizabeth Clarke to back door in yard belonging to Roebuck; (h) small square piece of ground at upper end of yard belonging to Roebuck adjoining the "necessary house" which had been lately inclosed and fenced in by Benjamin Reeve; (i) right of way from Samuel Reeve through gateway of Roebuck to and from street called Jeffs Lane; (j) use of "necessary house" and pump in Roebuck yard from Samuel Reeve, who paid one third expense of "farming out and clearing the said necessary house when required" and in maintaining pump; (k) cottage formerly called White Horse, then Roebuck near the Market House, Leighton Buzzard formerly in occupation of William Drage, then Benjamin Gartside the Benjamin Gartside and Samuel Reeve; (l) cottage in Leck End, Leighton Buzzard called Sun late in occupation of John Hopkins, then Joshua Hopkins; (q) bakehouse and barn, formerly malthouse and barn, on backside of (p); (r) cottage or inn called Peacock formerly in occupation of Thomas Crane and George Cooper senior then Sarah Parsons, widow and George Cooper then Samuel Hopkins and William Tomes in Corn Market, Leck End, Leighton Buzzard subject to right of way for George Hart of Leighton Buzzard, dealer in straw plait (owner of cottage in Gig Lane in occupation of William Tompkins, butcher) from Gig Lane to upper yard of Peacock in which barn of George Hart in occupation of William Prentice, then George Hart stood - admission of Joseph Procter at quitrents totalling 19/9 per annum
