  • Title
Letter from Joseph Procter to Charles Reeve at Leighton Buzzard "I shall be happy to meet your wishes as regards the outlay of 130 for the stables and shed. You will of course get as much done for the money as you can and I would suggest a Contract but that I will leave to you so long as you satisfy me that the amount has been so expended of course I twill be understood that should any unforseen and unexpected circumstances occur to prevent completion of the purchase that in such case I am not to be considered as in any way liable for the same. Mr.Clark (my solicitor) tells me that he hopes everything will be completed by Michaelmas and as that is not a very distant period I think it may be as well to defer any tenants' repairs until then."
