William Bayley and William Collop bound over to appear at the next General Quarter Sessions to answer the complaint of John Payne, farmer of Guilden Morden "for making an assault upon him on Monday last as he was riding over the ... lands of William Parkin of Potton, and there demanding money of him for the trespass and striking nine guineas out of his hand and for refusing to assist in picking them up, eight of which said nine guineas are lost."
