Agreement Parties: (i) John King of Broom, seed grower; (ii) Lydia Tasker of Biggleswade, widow, provision dealer Operative Part: - (i) agreed to let messuage and shop with yard, outbuildings and premises in Shortmead Street, Biggleswade; - tenancy year to year commencing 29 Sep 1893 at 30 per annum rent; - (ii) to pay all rates, taxes etc.; - (ii) to keep all glass in windows and all shutters, locks, fastenings, bells etc. in repair; - (ii) not to assign or underlet without consent of (i); - (i) able to expel (ii) if rent unpaid for 28 days or terms breached; - (ii) to enjoy quietly without interruption by (i) provided terms not breached and rent paid; - (i) to do all necessary repairs and painting; - tenancy to be ended by six months notice Witness: - Henry Chaundler of Biggleswade, solicitor
