Assignment of mortgaged premises Parties: (i) John Arch of Thurleigh, yeoman; (ii) Robert Boddington of Thurleigh, labourer; (iii) Richard Evans of Thurleigh, weaver Reciting: - mortgage by demise for 500 years - 22 Mar 1726 [1727] between (1) John Boddington of Thurleigh (now dead, father of (ii)); (2) Joseph Arch of Thurleigh, husbandman (now dead) in which in which (2) lent 10 to (1) secured on 3 acres of land in Thurleigh ((c) below) ; - (i) was sole executor of his father, John Arch, deceased, who had been administrator of estate of (2); - mortgage by demise for 500 years of 25 Mar 1739 [1740] between (1) Jane Boddington (since dead) and Robert Boddington and (2) John Arch junior in which (2) lent 16 to (1) secured on cottage in Scoll End, Thurleigh, 2 acres of pasture in Thurleigh in occupation of (1) and the 3 acres in Thurleigh used as security for mortgage of 22 Mar 1726 [1727] (being together (a) to (c) below); - mortgage of 25 Mar 1742 [1743] between (1) Jane and Robert Boddington and (2) John Arch junior in which (2) lent 30 to (1) including the sums lent in the mortgages of 22 Mar 1726 [1727] and 25 Mar 1739 [1740] secured on the same land as in mortgage of 25 Mar 1739 [1740]; - 31/10/- remained owing to John Arch junior; - (i) had contracted to purchase (a)-(c) from (ii) Operative Part: - (i) paid 29/10/- (as part of a purchse price of 60, the rest being made up by the outstanding mortgage) to (ii); - (iii) paid 5/- to (i); - (i) assigned the term of years of mortgage to (iii) Property: (a) cottage in Scoll End, Thurleigh; (b) 2 acres of pasture in Thurleigh; (c) 3 acres of land in Thurleigh Witnesses: - Henry Horton; - Griffith Morgan
