(r) two tenements and three small pieces of land called garden plots in tenure of John Jelley in White's Yard, Bedford Street, Ampthill abutting on house of John Bryan in Bedford Street to S and N; Robert Nutting claimed the garden plots by letters patent of 10 Apr 1610 to John Eldred and William Whitmore; rent 7/8 per annum; (s) two garden plots in possession of John Bryan of Ampthill abutting on Bedford Street, Ampthill to W; held by John Bryan by letters patent of 10 Apr 1610 to John Eldred and William Whitmore at rent of 1/- per annum - worth above rent 1/10/-;
