    Indenture Parties: (i) Robert Freke, esquire, Robert Napper and Edmond Downinge, gentleman [as trustees for (ii)?] (ii) John Browne of Frampton [Dorset], esquire; (iii) Robert Browne, son of (ii) Recital: - fine of Octave of St.Michael 1547 between (1) Edward Browne, esquire and Brigett his wife, plaintiffs and (2) Edmonde Hardye, deforciant of the Manor of Godmaston of two messuages, 320 acres of land, 40 acres of meadow and 600 acres of pasture, 6 acres of wood and 20 acres of heath and furze in Godmaston, except the advowsan of the church, by which (2) quitclaimed to (1) and (1) then granted the manor to (2) from 25 Mar 1548 for 95 years for a sum of 20 per annum, the land and term being conveyed to (ii); - John Bowyer of Beire [Somerset] granted Bowyers Magston in Broad Sidlinge [Dorset] to Edmond Hardye for 99 years, which term became vested in (ii); - deed of assignment of 14 Nov 1583 from (ii) to (i) of (ii)'s interest in the Manor of Godmaston and Bowyers Magston and the terms of years Operative Part: - (i) granted Manor of Godmaston and Bowyers Magston to (ii) for 50 years, remainder to (iii) Covenants: - (i) assigned their estate inthe Manor of Godmaston and Bowyers Magston to (iii); - (ii) would leave on the Manor of Godmaston and Bowyers Magston at the time of his death 900 sheep, 400 "hogge shepe", 10 kine, 1 bull, 8 horses, 100 acres of wheat, barley and oats and so much grain of wheat, barley and oats as should be stored on the farms to (iii) Endorsement: - signed, sealed and delivered by (i) and (ii) to William Churchill to the use of Robert Browne Witnesses: - Richard Swayne; - Thomas Person; - William Harbyn; - ...
