William Coles, husband of Z 50/141/284 Mrs Coles is said to have been a nagging wife and William, together with Ebenezer's brother Henry, (who married a Vicar's daughter and had a large family), scarpered to America, leaving the families to be looked after by grandfather. The photograph is by T Holdaway of Shefford.
