Correspondence, mostly from the General Register Office, London and the Local Government Board to A.J. Trethewy, Clerk to Ampthill Guardians re. alterations in the Ampthill Union registration districts on the dissolution of Woburn Union in 1899. The following other changes were also mooted, but not in the end carried out: transfer of Cranfield from Cranfield to Woburn sub-district, transfer of Lidlington from Cranfield to Ampthill sub-district and the proposed union of Cranfield and Ampthill sub-districts.
