Elizabeth Phillips married to Peter Phillips c.1853. Peter Phillips born in Flitwick workhouse 70 yrs ago; his mother was matron there. His parents were james and Esther Phillips (ro & sp) 22 July 1879 Note: my son made enquiries at Flitwick yesterday and heard that a blacksmith named James Phillips about 70 yrs ago lived at Bedford. He committed a theft and was sentenced to 1yr imprisonment; during that time wife and family sent to Flitwick n.d.
