Letter from Gennaro to Barbara from Teggiano, thanking her for her Christmas presents, birthday card and photographs. He congratulates Barbara's brother Les on getting a job at the "ex camp Prisoner of war (terrible life!) in my office room" and asks for Barbara's friend Edna Potts to give him the address of a former POW, Gastone, and tells of his uncle who has just returned from a POW camp in "Kenia". "The life in Italy is terrible everythings cost a lot of money and are not good."
