Reciting: - Bond of 4 Feb 1887 transferring the Sembowatti Estate to Ceylon Tea Plantations Company Limited in exchange for 200 £10 shares in the Company - Death of Charles Dingwall on 11 Nov 1889 - Death of Augustin Starey on 23 Mar 1888 - Will of Mary Dingwall of 28 Jul 1884 appointing her nephew Charles Arthur Dingwall and brother John Dingwall as executors and after bequeathing certain legacies settled the residue of her estate on her executors on trust to pay interest of half to John Dingwall and half equally between her nephews and nieces - Death of Mary Dingwall on 20 Feb 1887 and proof of her will in PPR on 20 Apr 1887 - That Mary Dingwall left nine nephews and nieces of which Grace Katherine Starey was one and that William Starey and Alexander Harvie Dingwall received as trustees on her behalf £591/4/3 on 5 May 1890 together with £8/15/9 from John Helps Starey to buy 60 £10 7% preference shares in Ceylon Tea Plantations Company Limited to hold in trust as part of the marriage settlement detailed in Z 951/9/1 - Will of Susanna Evans of 19 May 1876 bequeathed to GKS £1,000 - Death of Susanna Evans on 27 Apr 1890 and proof of her will by Susan Ann Jones and Alfred Maples Jeafferson on 4 Jun 1890 in PPR; the £1,000 being received by WS and AHD and invested in ten debentures of Hanley & Company Limited, City Brewery, Oxford - Marginal note that the £2,000 invested in Ceylon Tea Plantations Company Limited had in 1887 been invested in preference shares of Ragalla Tea Company and Yatiyantota [?]Company Witnessed by John Croasdell, Clerk to John Dingwall, 18 Finsbury Circus, London, Solicitor; Julia Blanche Dingwall of Knollys Croft, Streatham [Surrey], widow; Gilbert F.Traill of Colombo [Ceylon]
