Indenture of conveyance from Whitbread Cox of Clapham, yeoman to William Cook of Milton Ernest, baker, with Edward Newell of Milton Ernest, baker, as his trustee for £100 of: - (a) three cottages, one recently built by WC, with the yard, garden or pightle adjoining containing together one rood in Milton Ernest bounded by property formerly of Mary Boyden, now of Rowland Evans, esquire on one side and on the other by property formerly of William Grant and Holland Scroxton, now of [blank] and fronting the town street; which cottages were formerly in occupation of Judy Long, Joseph Mead and George Hart, now of William Cook, James Parrott and Robert Trewith. WC signs with a mark, witnessed by William Rogers, solicitor of Bedford.
