Solemn declaration of Isaac Hurst of Bedford, surgeon, as to the pedigree of John Budd and Frederic Budd as proof of title, declaring that: - IH knew Francis John Rudd of Bedford, attorney and Ann Budd his wife from 1814 until their deaths; - FJB died on 8 Apr 1831 and his only living children were John, Maria, Ann and Frederic, John being the eldest; - all other children died whilst "of tender age"; - AB died on 16 Jul 1836; - JB, a bachelor, left his mother's house in Bedford to live in London in Spring 1835 and IH had not seen him since and believed him to be dead; - Frederic Budd was born on 9 Aug 1823, IH attending AB during her confinement.
