    Indenture of feoffment from Thomas Swanson of St.Paul's, Bedford, yeoman and William Day of Saint Neots [Huntingdonshire], gentleman, his trustee, to Holland Scroxton of Bedford, labourer, with William Perkins of Bedford, excise officer, acting as his attorney, for £60 of: (a) cottage or tenements in Milton Ernest, part of which was lately a barn, converted by TS into two dwellings with ground adjoining measuring E-W 65 feet and N-S 51 feet abutting the street to N and in occupation of William Salisbury and James Odell. Witnessed by Richard Lane, John Blackwell and James Moore. Endorsed with a note that William Perkins took possession of the property and delivered it to Holland Scroxton - witnessed by William Hart and Joseph Brown.
