Hoped he[William]had "long heard of his safe arrival in this place". Writes of his voyage and health and "work has made me lighter and the sun has made me darker" Writes of his uncle and cousins. Had received an invitation to Hobart Town, but was remaining there until "Susy's arrival". He had not seen Geo HENMAN. Thos COOK was living "in a snug cottage of his own erection near Melbourne". Hoped he[William]would pass on duplicate letter to Susan. PS. Was going to hear Mr R GORING[Chaplain on board the Melbourne] who had arrived in Adelaide after an uncomfortable voyage. May 16 Had received first letter from Susan.
