    Letter Two(pages 2-4) First part of letter from Eliza BIGGS. Second part from Abraham, Hobart Town, to his father, John Barratt BIGGS for Eliza's father Mr COLEMAN, Brickhill. "My dear Parents and Relatives(please send this to Brom-ham when you have read it)". Abraham's letter to friends giving account of voyage. He was confined to his bed with dysentery in imminent danger of his life, but thankful to "God in his infinite mercy was pleased to restore him, thought very weak for some time". Weather had been very rough "some days we were scarcely able to stand on our feet or lie in our Beds". Saturday August 24th sighted land. Day very cold. Next morning dropped anchor, just 16 weeks from leaving the downs. Came ashore and went to Chapel and heard Mr TURNER, the missionary stationed there. A gentleman, a store-keeper, requested the family live with him until their house was ready to go into. Came on shore Tuesday, 27th and remained with him for a week. Advise direct letters to Mr BARRETT's Stores, Elizabeth Street, Hobart Town. VD Land Lists price of provisions obtained at auction. Has found work as master at 7/6 per day. Working on handsome French bedstead for Mr HEWITT, will cost £20. Thinking of erecting a new house and business upon a piece of land advised to buy in Hobart Town. "Our very excellent friend BARRETT will advance the money at Bank Interest 10 p/c holding the title of the land in his possession as security for his money". "The Indiana came in about a fortnight after us. Mr DAVIS stopped at the Isle of France". Mr RICHARDSON has been up to Launceston, says that side of the Country is far the most fertile. "Eliza and children are in better state of health than I have ever known". "Our love to you is unabated. Forget us not at the Throne of Grace".
