Park House was enlarged in 1770,s and then purchased by the Duke of Bedford in 1841. Put to military use in the early days of the second world war. Became a conference / entertainment centre for Bovril Ltd. and in 1955 it became a Cheshire Home until 1977. Published by Lilywhite Ltd. Dunkirk Mills Halifax LAH 6.
