BEDFORD: Church of the Holy Child. Ground plan and elevation of proposed addition to the church. Signed by A.E. Purdie, architect, 13 October 1877. Scale ½ inch : 1 foot. Ink on tracing paper, mounted on linen. 18½" x 21". Shows addition of three bays to nave and aisles, new chapel and confessional beyond the "north" aisle, and baptistery, organ gallery, and tower with spire (146 feet high) on the "west" or main street facade. Note: The above plan has been badly affected by dirt and damp.
