Peter Sutton, Ampthill, tailor. 2 November 1683. New pair of breeches, stolen from his stall at Dunstable fair, were found with Ellen Carter. The Informacon of Peter Sutton of Ampthill in the County of Bedford taylour taken upon oath before Sr Francis Wingate Knt one of his Majesties Justices of the peace for the County of Bedford the second day of November Anno Dni 1683 This Informant sayth that at Dunstable faire the first of this instant November he had feloniously taken from his stall there one paire of New Gray Cloth Breeches which he found upon one Ellen Carter late of Pike in the County of Worcester, widdow And further this Informant sayth not Fra Wingate Peter Sutton
