    William Conney, Chesham (Bucks), butcher. 3 December 1683. Bought brown heifer at Leighton market from Jn.Greene, and paid toll for it. Robert Willison, Newton Longfield (Bucks), gent. At Leighton market bargained with Jn.Green for heifer, but it was never delivered to him. The Information of William Conney of Chessom in the Cownty of Bucks butcher, taken upon Oath the 3 day of December 1683 before me Thomas Snagge Esqr one of his Majesties Justices of the peace for the Cownty of Bedff: This Informate saith. That upon the 20th day of November last past, he bought of one John Greene now prisoner in his Majesties Goale at Bedfford, one Browne Heyfer which cost him th[ree] pownds and thirteene shillings in the open market place of Leighton Buzzard in this Cownty of Bedff and payd Toll for the same Heyfer, accordinge to the Lawes and Statutes of this Realme and the auncient Customes of the aforesaid market. And further saith not. Tho Snagg The Information of Robert Willison of Newton Longfield in the County of Bucks gent taken the 3 day of December 1683 before me Thomas Snagge Esqr one of his Majesties Justices of the peace for this Cownty of Bedfford. This Informate sayth: That upon the 20th day of November last past he did bargaine with one John Greene, now prisoner in his Majesties Goale at Bedff, for one Heyfer in the open market place of Leighton Buzzard.
