    Deposition:Margaret Yerrell, Tempsford, spinster. More evidence of quarrel. R.Webb said Adey's wife beat her head against a tree. Eliz. w. of Hen. Wallis, yeo. After fight she dressed R.W.'s head, which seemed benumbed, but wound was very small; E.W. does not think it caused death. Barbara Ingrey, widow. M. Yarrell said R.Webb told her Adey and wife had killed her. The Informacon of Margaret Yerrell of Temsford in the County of Bedd spinster taken upon oath the 24th day of March 1691 This Informt saith that she did dwell in the same house with Rose Webb and that she did never know any quarrell between Adies wife and her untill Monday last and that then they did quarrell about a knife as the said Rose did tell this Informt And further she saith that the said Rose did tell this Informt the Tuesday night following that the said Adey's wife had beaten her head against a tree & did throw dirt at her Also she saith that the said Rose did urge Elward Adey by provoking language speaking as loud as she could And that the said Edward Adey followed her & kickt her against Peter Millers hedge & further saith not. Eisdem die et anno The Informacon of Elizabeth Wallis wife of Henry Wallis of Temsford aforesaid yeoman taken upon oath ut supra This Informt saith that on Tuesday last about 4 of the clock in the afternoon Rose Webb came to this Informt desiring her to dresse her head saying that Adeyes wife had broken it by knocking it against a tree And this Informt saith that the wound was very small & not deepe But the said Rose complained that her head was benumbed which this Informt believes, because while she was searching her head the said Rose did not appeare to be sensible of it And further she saith that she found no contusions or bruises about her head, nor doth she thinke that wound was the cause of her death Eisdem die et anno The Informacon of Barbara Ingray of Temsford aforesaid widdow taken upon oath ut supra This Informt saith that Margaret Yarrell did say to this Informt on Thursday last that Rose Webb did tell her the said Yarrell that Edward Adey and his wife had killed her And further saith not S Hanwell Coroner
