    Deposition:Margaret Coxe, Tempsford, spinster. 24 March 1682. Rose Webb said Joanna Adeye had threatened her. Edward Adey, Tempsford. Quarrel bet. his wife and Rose Webb about a knife. Next day R.W. 'used severall provoking speeches' towards E.A., and he kicked her. The Informacon of Margaret Coxe of Temsford in the said County Spinster taken upon oath. The 24th day of March 1681 This Informt saith that Rose Webb told her that Johanna Adey wife of Edward Adey threatned to knock her on the head and to cutt her throat with a knife And that the said Rose did speake those words to this Inform on Tuesday last before their fighting And further saith not Eisdem die et anno The Examinacon of Edward Adey of Temsford aforesaid labr taken ut supra This Ext saith that his wife and Rose Webb fell at difference upon Monday last about a knife And that upon the next day the said Rose used severall provoking speeches toward this Examt which he not bearing gave her a kick about the hipps not thinking to do her any harme & further said not.
