    Know all present to come that I Philip son of William the clerk of Wroxhull have given and granted and by this my present charter have confirmed to Thomas Aspelon, of the same, and Margaret his wife, and to the heirs of the said Thomas, one selion lying upon Wotton-hull between the land of the aforesaid Thomas on the one part and the land of John Robechok on the other. To have and to hold the aforesaid selion, of the chief lord of the fee, to them and the heirs of the aforesais Thomas or their assigns, freely, quietly, well and in peace for ever. Doing therefore yearly to the chief lord of the fee the service due. And I the aforesaid Phillip and my heirs will warrant and defend the aforesaid selion with the appurtenances to the aforenamed Thomas and Margaret his wife, and the heirs of the afoesaid Thomas, against all men for ever. In witness whereof to thos presen tcharter I have set my seal. These being witnesses - Richard son of the lord Ralph de Merston [?], Alan le Welie, Guy the Clerk, Phillip Richard, Robert son of Roger de Scelton and others. Given at Wroxhull on Saturday the feast of St.Barnabas, the Apostle in the thirty fourth year of the reign of King Edward
