    T.Honilove and T. Bunyan wanted to rob to get money to pay the fees of Edw, Cooke and Wm. Robinson, prisoners in Gaol. The informacion of Thomas Brancklin Aprentice of Richard Robinson of the Towne of Bedford Mason taken upon Oath before mee William Bamforth Mayor of the Towne of Bedford Aforesaid Tues the Ninth day of March Anno domini 1679 Tues. 24th Feb. This Informant upon Oath saieth that upon Shrovestusday at night Last this Informant being in the Company of Thomas Honilove the yonger son of Thomas Honilove the elder Cordwainer and Thomas Bunyan Taylor did intice and solicit this Informant to breake open the stable of Mr. William Faldo of the Parish of St. Peeters in the Towne of Bedford aforesaid And take out two of his horses telling him that they would bee Readey to receive them from him and Also to breake Open the stable of Mr. Brand in St. Peeters and from thence to take out the Horse of Mr. Ralph Smith And also the stable of John Roase of St. Peeters Aforesaid And from thence to take horses that ware brought to Bedford faier to bee sold which horses they told this Informant they would bee Readey to Receive at his hand and therewith goe to the Highwayes to Robb and gitt Money to Releive and pay the Feese of Edward Cooke and William Robinson Prisoners in the Goale in Case they should bee Aquitted which Advice att two generall meetings afterward in the Evenings in the Berrey Cloase and in the Pecks Cloase they did give and Ernestly persue this Informant with telling him allso the Surcumstances and Manner how they the would gitt money enough And that the said Thomas Bunyan told this Informant hee had bine in divors Scurmises alreadey and this Informant further saieth that Thomas Bunyan told him that Edward Cooke and William Robinson and hee the said Bunyan Lay under A hedge att Putnough Gate all night to Lite of A prise but Could git non their Came divers Companies of horsmen by but their Companyes being soe bigg they ware Loath to venter on them the marke of Thomas X Brancklin
