Conveyance i) James Wilson, Radcliffe Road, Hitchin, Herts, retired farmer ii) Fanny Pettingell, daughter of i) and wife of William Pettingell, Shillington, farmer iii) said William Pettingell iv) said William Pettingell and Herbert Crawley, Hitchin, Herts, butcher Now in consideration of an annual sum of £28 payable to i) during his life i) conveys to iv) - messuage at Apsley End in Shillington on west side of road leading from Shillington Church End to Pegsdon - pieces land adjoining --- Home Close (2a 2r 24p) ---Ploughed Close (2a 1r 29p) --- Long Close (1a 3r 38p) --- Nut Close (1a 23p) now in occupation of iii) to be held by vi) in fee simple to secure payment of said £28 to i) payable half yearly and subject to above payment in trust to pay income to ii) for life, then to iii) if he survives her, and then in trust for Stephen James Richardson, Emily Crawley and George Edgar Richardson, the children of ii) in such shares as she shall appoint.
