    Lease and release i) Robert Jackson, Arlesey, Esq., a Captain in H.M. Royal Navy, Jn. Petty Muspratt, Broad Street, London, Esq. ii) Thos. Alex. Raynsford, Esq., one of Deputy Registers of High Court of Chancery iii) Geo. Nigel Edwards, Henlow Grange, Esq. reciting will of Sir John Jackson, late of Broad Street, bart., dated 3 Sept. 1819 by which he devised all his manors of Astwicke, Eatonsbury and Langford and the advowson of the Rectory of Astwicke and vicarage of Arlesey and the Rectory of Langford, and all his lands in Astwicke, Langford, Stotfold, Arlesey and Henlow, to bro,i) in trust for sale. He died 17 May 1820. Parts of said property were put up for sale on 25 Aug [18201 at which (ii) was highest bidder for lot 16 at £3400 and timber at £143 15s 9d (total £3543 15s 9d) now in consideration of said £3543 16s 9d paid to i) by ii) i) release to ii) - Manor of Langford - messuage with dovehouses etc in parish - 94 acs 1r. 23p land held with said messuage now in the occupation Mrs Sarah Wheeler - homestead and orchard, Home Close, Top Close, Middle Close, Lower Close, Mill Close, Clifton Homes, lammas ground in the open meadow, the Dams, midsummer land in the open meadow, Cockins Close and Homestead meadow tithes of corn, grain and hay and all other rectorial or great tithes iii) to be trustee for ii) if necessary signatures I) endorsed receipt wits Thomas Owe, Lincoln's Inn J Hall, Salters Hall [formerly CD 968 & 969].
