In March 1975, the heading of building services wrote to the county architect concerning some land on Court Drive, Dunstable and he put forward the idea of building a new footpath link the rear of Queensway hall to the Dunstable recreation centre. The county architect requested a plan indicate the route of the proposed path wihc was sent and the matter was passed onto the county valuer & estates officer. The provision of a the footpath was agreed and an approval would be sent up. From this point the matter was handled by the the county valuer & estates officer. Two notes are enclosed in the file regarding a new idea - a car park for the Dunstable College of education. The last document in the file outlines a proposed exchange of land in Court Drive which conerns the Dunstable College.
