    Alice Partridge, Eversholt, widow Suspects Richard Pierson of breaking into her house and stealing goods found at Ed. Dickes. The informacon of Alice Partridge of Evershalt in the county of Bedd widow taken upon oath the 9th day of September Anno Dni 1675 before me St John Thompson Esqr one of his Maties Justices of the peace for the said county This informant saith that about the seventh day of September instant her house was broken open in the night time and divers of her goods feloniously taken away by one Richard Pierson (as she conceiveth) for that the said goods which shee lost were left by the said Pierson at the house of Edward Dickes the younger of Woburne in the said county victualler, at whose house he the said Pierson was apprehended St John Thomson
