    Deposition: Richard Hopkins, Silsoe. His Father's house was broken into by night and 2 cheeses from there were later found in house of John Savill. The information of Richard Hopkins of Silsoe taken upon oath before mee George Wyan one of his Maiestyes Justices of the Peace for this county of Bedford this nineteenth day of Aprill in the twentyseaventh yeare of the raine of our soverane Lord Charles the second by the grace of God Kinge of England Scotland France and Ireland, defender of the Faith Annoque Domini 1675 This informant saith that the house of William Hopkins the father of the said Richard in Silsoe in this county was broken open on Fryday night the sixteenth of this instant Aprill where there was stolen two cheeses and that in search after theese goods hee did finde parte of the cheeses in the house of John Savill of Mogerhanger in the county of Bedford aforesaid and further saith not Geo Wyan [Signature deleted]
