    Deposition: John Barford, Foxcoate, Towcester, Northants. 24 May 1675. Between Brixhill and Hockliffe Thomas and Hugh Watson robbed him of £9., 'and did terrifie him very much by holding a pistoll against his breast.' The Informacon of John Barford of Foxcoate in the parish of Toscester in the county of Northton taken upon oath the xxiiiith day of May 1675 before me St John Thomson Esquire one of his Maies Justices of the peace for the county of Bedd as followeth This informant saith that upon the said foure & twentieth day of May he was robbed betweene Little Brickhill and Hockliffe in the said county of Bedford by Thomas Watson and Hugh Watson aboute Eleaven of the clocke in the forenoon whoe tooke away from him nine poundes of currant money and did terrifie him very much by holding a pistol against his breast St John Thomson
