    John Riseley even date. Three weeks ago Sarah Mosse said she was hungry; he asked her if he should fetch a warrant to have her before a J.P. The information of John Riseley of Houghton Conquest Beds. taken the 21st of April before the same J.P.s: This informant saith that this day three weekes since he heard Sarah Mosse an Apprentice to Thomas Willimott of Houghton Conquest aforesd. wanted victualls and thereupon he asked the sd. Sarah Mosse if she wanted victualls and she answered him Yes she was hungry and he then alsoe asked the sd. Sarah Mosse if he should fetch a warrant and have her before a Justice of Peace whether she would say soe and she told him that if her dame meaning Eliz Willimott the wife of Thos Willimot were present she dared not to say soe but if she were alone she would. And that at another time she called to him and told him that her dame had beaten her And further saith not. sign: John Riseley.
