    Deposition. Dorothy Yarrow 4 Feb. 1667 Received plough chains of Mary Search, asked Robert Smith, Harlington, blacksmith to take them to his chop. The Information of Dorothy Yarrow the wife of Thomas Yarrow of Tuddington in the said county of Bedford carter taken upon oath before me Francis Wingate Esq. one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for this county the fourth day of February A.D. 1666 Who Saith that about a fortnight since, one Mary Search alias Michell of Harlington in the County aforesaid, knocked at the back door of the house of this informant early in the morning and this informant opening the door the said Mary Search came into the house and brought in with her certain irons; and somebody knocking at the back door whilst the said Mary Search was in the house she immediately ran out at the other door and left the said irons in this Informants house; and one Robert Smith of Puddington aforesaid blacksmith, coming into the house whilst the Irons was there this informant desired him to take them home with him and lay them in his shop telling him that somebody might own them for she doubted they were stolen, And further sayth not.
