Leighton Buzzard Manor, otherwise Grovebury 1 John Flemons, Leighton Buzzard, draper 2 Susanna Cotchin, Chelsea, Linslade parish, Bucks, spinster Surrender by 1 to the use of 2 in consideration £600 at 4% to be repaid by 16 February 1860 Recites X 807/1/27 Oven and bakehouse and ground occupied on the north side of a freehold messuage in North Street, Leighton Buzzard lately conveyed by John Flint to John Flemons East: cottage lately of Ann Stonhill and Elizabeth Chapman and now John Flemons (the cottage hereinafter described) North: premises Charles Ridgeway West: Washhouse of said messuage South: said yard John Flemons admitted tenant at Court on 27 and 28 October 1859 Cottage or tenement situate in the North end Leighton Buzzard recently built by John Flemons on the site whereon a cottage occupied by John Atkins later John Gurney stood. North: lately stood cottage of Thomas Chew since Samuel and Elizabeth Hopkins and now of Charles Ridgeway South: yard and premises formerly of Thomas & West:Lane Wood and since Nathaniel Stonhill (being the yard and premises of the freehold messuage conveyed by John Flint to John Flemons) East: fronting into the street John Flemons admitted tenant at Court on 27 & 28 October 1859 Signed: John Flemons Witnesses: William Dumpleton, Fred.
