    Suggestions file including: - letter sent to four girls from Rushden [Northamptonshire] who supported the idea of an airport, pointing out that the only job opportunities were liable to be such as washing dishes or sweeping a passenger concourse and stating that airport jobs were likely to be at uncivil hours [9 May 1969]; - letter stating that over 25 years 65,000 jobs could be created at the airport but that most would be brought in from outside the area [14 May 1969]; - suggestion that a tape recording of aircraft noise at Heathrow should be used in the campaign, with a reply that such a scheme would be technically difficult and a reply to a similar suggestion stating that such a project could be physically dangerous[Jun-Aug 1969].
