Letter to Gibbard from John Taddy, rector of Northill reporting a meeting of the Committee in connection with the joining of the Board of Education for the Archdeaconry and the National Society. Gibbard appears to have had some misgivings about the board, which seems to have taken over the work of the old Society, appointed new secretaries and sent out letters to parishes. Taddy writes: 'PS Though a Committee man I do not write officially, only my private opinion.'
