Mortgage Parties: (i) Guardians of the poor of the Luton Union acting as the Rural Sanitary Authority of the said Union. (ii) The Prudential Assurance Company Ltd whose registered offices are at 142 Holborn Bars, London. Operative: Mortgage from (i) to (ii) in consideration of £450 with interest at £3/10/- per centum per annum. (i) assigns (a) to (ii) as security for repayment. (a) Such proportion of the rates arising or occurring by virtue of the Public Health Acts for the Rural Sanitary Authority of the said Union. Habendum: - To hold to (ii) subject to the usual mortgage covenants for redemption. Witnessed by Edward Barnard, chairman of (i); William Austin solicitor of Luton and Benjamin Seebohn treasurer of (i). Includes memorandum dated 22nd Feb 1922 stating that the mortgage and interest has been paid off.
