(My lady's room has curtains of crimson plush, 2 great elbow chairs of the same, and the bed is furnished in crimson sarsenet, there are 7 stools covered in crimson plush, and the carpet is also crimson; there is an ebony cabinet with a frame to stand on, a great china jar, a hanging clock, 4 looking-glasses, 6 hangings of pillars and flower pots; above the chimney is a picture of Bathsheba and David,and there are 2 little porcelain jars with covers. The nursery has curtains of sad-coloured serge round the bed; my lord's chamber is furnished in green, with some crimson velvet too; and has his and his lady's pictures in gilt frames; his dressing-room has tapestry hangings, and on the table is a Turkey-work carpet.)
