Two bills for expenses on the grand tour, Rome and back, 1,308 11s, signed P. Repingon. This is the tour made by Hen. Grey, aft. Duke. The whole expense is not given in detail, as it refers to 672 as brought forward. but it gives various travelling expenses,porters, washing, pistols, footboy, swords, mantle, wages, my Lord's pocket money (40 p.a.), apothecary. (Cf. 30/2; 30/8).
