Midland Railway, South Midland Extension (Leicester to Hitchin pp SMB 1-38 and branches from Little Bowden to Northampton pp SMN 1-11 and Isham to Huntingdon pp SMH 1-14). Plan and section R Stephenson and C Liddell, engineers. Section of plan from Bedford to Hitchin (pp SMM 28-38) hand coloured, with names of landowners added in manuscript. Bound in leather, with the name of W H Whitbread Esq in gold lettering on cover.
