'A Terrier and Particular of Cotton-End Farm in the parish of Cardington in the County of Bedford, the estate of the Trustees of the late Mrs Jane Carte's Charity, Taken in the year 1759 by James Cole' - with additonal note 'copy made in 1779, and examined by Jacob Yallowley'. The volume is an original of 1759, and this note written in a later hand implies only that a further copy was made in 1779. Terrier gives names of fields, number of lands, area, and names of occupiers - total 130a 1r 26p in the open fields.
