Petition of Ric., Earl of Kent, to Cardinal Wolsey Abp of York to recover the
lordships of Ruthin and Dyffryn Clwyd: Ric. Empson & Edm. Dudley,
t. Hen. VII, caused petitioner to be bound in a recognizance for
4,000 marks for payment of a debt of 300 and for 1,800, which
Hen. VII claimed of Geo., Earl of Kent, by reason of a ward
Eliz. Russell, for whom the above were security, and who was
subsequently returned to the king unmarried. Details of later
