Deed to secure performance of covenants: (i) Amabel, Countess Dowager of Kent; Wm. Man (ii) Matt. Pindar Wm.Longueville recites that Amabella recovered in the court of Exchequer 1000 against Wm. Man, Hilary Term, 1668/9; judgement for the better securing of covenant dated 23 Feb. 1668/9 between Wm. Man sr. & jr., Jn Denew of Cambridge, and Amabella; which covenants were not performed; Amabella has now recieved 500 of Matt. Pindar, and Wm. Man 200 of Wm. Longueville by indenture of even date; Amabella Countess of Kent, with agreement of Wm. Man, agrees that if Wm. Man does not perform covenants under deed of even date, (ii) can proceed to prosecute in the name of Amabella.
