(Rec. of intended marr. of (i) and (ii) and Covenant to suffer Recovery of 27 & 28 June, 1805 btwn. (a) Amabel, Baroness Lucas (b) My. Jemima Lady Grantham, mother of (i) (c) equals (i), (d) Chas. Harris (Lord Viscount fitz Harris). 8 Recoveries suffered in Trinity Term 1805 - manors etc. in Beds.; Essex, Wilts, Middsx., Suffolk, Herts., Northants, Leics., to use of (a) for life and to her sons in tail with redrs. to dtrs. and (b) etc. (i - iii) -- messuages & lands in Longthorpe (132 1/2a.) on trusts -- manor of Genedale, als. Givendale with village & tithes, and messuages, farms, and lands there (678 1/4a.) - - village of Brampton als. Branton with tithes & messuages, farm and lands there and in Kirkby Hill with Long Thorp (394 1/4a.) - - manor of Milby and messuages, cottages, and lands in Milby and Humberton cum Milby (670 1/2a.) - - mess. and eight closes in par. of Cundall (100a.) - - manor of Rainton with mess. and lands (392a.) - - manor of Clifton and Rawcliffe with tithes (727 3/4a.) To use of (i) for life, (iii) to preserve uses (200 yrs. term) After his death, and if (ii) survives him, lands in Longthorpe, Genedale, Brampton, Milby, Humberton, and Rainton to be charged with rent charge of 2000 p.a. To be void if (a) and (b) die during lifetime of (ii) and there is a failure of issue of (a) hrs. entitled or inheritable under limitations. Then after death of (i) (a) and (b) and failure of issue, rent charge of 3000 to (ii) on same lands; either of these rent-charges in lieu of dower for jointure. Other lands to use of (v) for 500 yrs. after marr. for use of sons of marriage; (iii) to take rents if minor and use for maintenance and invest surplus in securities at compound interest, (iii) to convert into money at end of minority, pay off any accumulated charge on estate, and use surplus for estates of inheritance in England. (v) to raise portion(s) for child(ren) other than eldest or only s. or dtr. for 1 child 20,000., for 2 25,000, for 3 30,000, and to maintain children at rate of interest of 5% on expectant portio 5000 extra to be raised for son(s') (other than eldest) portio (iii) have power to lease for 21 yrs. or exchange lands. Endmts. (1) Appt. of new trustees (21 January 1836) (iii died 21 November 182? and June 1829): Ric. Chas. Francis Earl of Clanwilliam and Jn. Trott of Connaught Place Mddsx., Captain H.M. 2nd. Regiment Life Guards. (2) Note of Conveyance (L. & R.) of 25 & 26 July 1834 by (i), then Earl de Grey to Hen. Stafford Thompson Esq. of 26 1/4a. of above land in parish of Rawcliffe. (3) Note of Deed Poll of 14 February 1846 of rent charge granted by the Earl de Grey of 150 p.a. on Newbury Farm, Silsoe occ. Squire, & West End Farm there occ. Ric.
